Yes, we are ECA certified!

Ethical Clothing Australia

Yes, we are ECA certified but you may ask why does that matter?

Unless we value people, their time and quality of life, how can we truly live an ethical and sustainable life. I want the people that come and work for me to be enjoy coming to work, to have enough to pay the bills and a little more to enjoy life and be happy, so I pay above award wages and if that means that I have to charge accordingly, than that's what has to be.

Anna-Louise Howard - Founder - Farm To Hanger

The fashion industry has been notorious for not paying fair wages, exploiting young people, particularly women and not giving staff a fair living wage. We decided to keep all of our manufacturing right here in Australia and wanted to let you, our customers, know that we are doing the right thing, we are looking after our people and providing good working conditions.

Ethical Clothing Australia Certified -For Your Peace of Mind.

Farm To Hanger is proudly ethically certified with Ethical Clothing Australia. Farm To Hanger has gone through the process of voluntary accreditation from Ethical Clothing Australia as proof of our commitment to ensuring our supply chain is fully transparent and legally compliant. The ECA program maps a company’s Australian supply chain throughout the entire cut, make and trim process, including all value adding processes. This is done via annual third-party compliance audits conducted by the Textile, Clothing and Footwear Union of Australia (TCFUA). By encouraging companies to view supply chain management as an integral part of business, ECA protects the rights of both local factory-based workers and outworkers.

By being certified by Ethical Clothing Australia we have opened up our business to their scrutiny of wages, conditions and health and safety of our staff and facilities to give you peace of mind that we are doing the right thing at every step of producing your clothes.
